Holy Week at MUMC

We want to take a minute to invite you to worship this Lenten and Easter season. As we journey with Jesus to the cross this Lenten season, we will be cultivating and letting go as we prepare our hearts for Easter.

Maundy Thursday

We will have special services for Maundy Thursday (April 14) and Good Friday (April 15) at noon and 7 p.m. On Maundy Thursday, April 14, we will have a Soup Luncheon at 11am so that our community can gather together and break bread. Rev. Helen Smith will be preaching the Maundy Thursday services.

Good Friday

Good Friday has us listening to the Seven Last Words of Christ. Join us a 7 pm as we listen, reflect, and sing our faith. The service is available on YouTube.

Easter Sunday services will be Indoors, and both will be blended services. We have a variety of special music planned for both services including our vocal ensembles, praise band, children and youth choirs, and instrumentalists. It will be a wonderful chance to celebrate the Risen Christ together.

Every worship service at Middletown is family-friendly. We have nursery care available for the youngest in our community of faith and our family ministry area has been revamped. We have a hospitality station at each service with coffee and snacks. Worship servants help to make worship services possible, including those who serve on the sound team, AV team, hospitality team and worship leader team.
