Faithful Hearts Journey Group

This small group gathers Sunday mornings at 9:30 with both a virtual and in person option. Previous studies have included items that follow along with the sermon series, or focus on particular spiritual growth opportunities. One such study has been Pray First. Elaine Canonico is the class leader.

You’ll explore Jewish lives under Roman occupation, reflect on the apocalyptic mood of the first and second centuries AD, and witness the early Christians’ evangelism beyond the Jewish communities.

Justice for All

The Justice for All group, led by Sherie Koob, explores justice-centered studies that examine topics like incarceration, inclusion, and earth care. Currently, they are delving into how doubt influences faith, fostering meaningful discussions that encourage growth and understanding in addressing social justice issues through a faith-based lens.

Reckless Love

Led by Linda Nealon, this Friday morning group meets online via Zoom, bringing together members from across the country. It's a welcoming space for a book-based Bible study, allowing participants to explore faith and connect deeply with others, no matter where they’re located.

S’Ages

On the second Monday of March, May, September, and November at noon, seniors gather in the social hall to enjoy meals and fellowship. This event offers a wonderful chance to connect with other seniors in the community. Those needing a ride are encouraged to reach out to the church office for assistance.

The online book club, led by coordinator Mary Straits, gathers virtually to explore a diverse selection of books. Each month, members connect from the comfort of their homes to discuss thought-provoking reads, sharing insights and perspectives. This welcoming group fosters a love for literature and provides a sense of community across distances.

Prayerful Stitcher

The stitching group meets Friday nights in the gathering room at Middletown, bringing together people to crochet and knit items with purpose. Many of their creations, such as prayer shawls and pocket prayer shawls, are gifted to community members facing challenging times, offering comfort and support through handmade care.
